Jacquard bedspread
I thought Jacquard meant to weave in french, but I looked it up and it is the name of the frenchman who invented the jacquard loom, for weaving complicated patterns with fabric. I still like the name, so I'll keep it for the name of my bedspread.
Crocheting the bedspread was pretty easy, once I decided what I wanted to do, but it took a long time to make up the pattern. I kept making the pattern longer, I wanted to put in exactly everything I did, so that it would be easy to understand, and now that it's finished, I think it will be very easy to follow. When I made the second bedspread I double checked the pattern and it worked out just right!
I made the first one for my dollhouse bed, and it looked real cute,
so I made a blue one also,
now I'm making bigger one for a standare size bed, I don't know about these colors, I kind of wish they were pink and black, or even pink and orange.
Next time, I'll use really bright colors!!
