Tapestry Crochet

I found the website called Carol Ventura's Tapestry Crochet.com, and it is so much fun!! I have been using her technique all weekend, and having a blast. The little bags and purses are real easy and fun to make, I can't seem to make them fast enough.

You can use this kind of crochet to make other things too, but so far I'm only able to tapestry crochet in the round, because it looks like, to make something flat, with a pattern in it, you can only crochet one way. This means you have to either cut your yarn at the end of each row, or learn to crochet with your other hand on the way back accross the row...Whew!!! I don't think I can crochet with my other hand, it would take a lot of practice, and I sure don't want to cut my yarn. I guess I'll just have to think of things that are round for now.

I tried to make a Boston Terrier bag, but it didn't work out too well. I'll keep trying.
