Do you ever have on of those spells when it seems like you'll never finish what you're working on?  I'm having that right now. I promised myself I would finish a doily for my sister-in-law by Sunday, because we are going to her house for a birthday party, and I wanted to bring it to her. I asked her a couple of months ago if she would like a doily, and what color.  She said dark green or dark red. I decided to do both.  Well, I finished the red one right away, now I'm on my last row for the dark green one, and wouldn't you know it, It's the hardest one yet.  I haven't messed it up yet, but reading the instructions and comprehending them are two different things.  If I can't figure out the directions tonight, I'm going to just improvise, and be done with it.  

     Speaking of my sister-in-law, Judi, she makes the cutest quilts for dogs and cats, I don't know if you can tell by the picture, but they
are both well used by Lucy, and Motorboat!  They love them. Aren't they beautiful?
